Circles

Circles have been established to increase membership, promote member participation and to invite all members the opportunity to use their special talents and time to Saint Patrick Cathedral through the Altar Society

Below is a description of each circle and it's areas of responsibilities.

Saint Anthony - Fundraising

• Bake Sales,Candle Sales/Tamale Sales as approved by the Board and Rector

Saint Catherine - Special Projects

• Minister to those in need such as providing members who are ill with meals or any other needs

• Provide rides for members to meetings or events

• Charity projects

Saint Francis - Altar Service

• Cleaning and preparing the Altar and Cathedral for Sunday Mass and special events

• Decorating for Christmas and Easter

• Sew Baptismal bibs as needed

• Assist with All Catholic Schools Mass, Holy Week, Mass of Corpus Christi and any other events relating to divine worship as requested by the Rector or Sacristan

 Saint Patrick - Hospitality

• Plan and host receptions as requested by the Rector or Bishop

• Help plan and host parties with other parish organizations

• Assign Circles to set up and provide refreshments for monthly Altar Society general meetings

Saint Peter - Communication

• Notify Altar Society members of meetings, special events or projects, fundraisers, receptions, etc.

• Keep an updated membership list

• Send the President any information for the weekly cathedral bulletin

Saint Joseph - Bereavement

• Furnish any needs for funerals or receptions
